SummaryThe Production Team Lead for 2nd shift is a working Lead that provides leadership and direction to the 2nd shift team. The Production Team Lead ensures efficient shift production and expected performance for 2nd shift team members. The Production Team Lead helps assemble, inspect and problem solve cable assemblies.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLeadership Duties: Assists in mentoring team leaders Assists in training new team members Assists with KPI requirements: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Cost Assists in the evaluation of 2nd shift team members, providing feedback to Production Supervisors Drives 6S culture on the shift Is the Go-to person for any emergencies that occur during the shift Promotes and enforces safety policies and proceduresAssembly Duties: Helps assemble cables and components per Manufacturing Instructions Helps inspect cables to ensure quality Helps problem solve assembly issues Performs other tasks as required by SupervisorJob Requirements High school diploma, GED or applicable experience Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment Contract manufacturing assembly experience strongly preferred Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred Excellent communication skills. Overtime availableTimes Microwave Systems, located in Mesa, Arizona, is looking to hire Cable Assemblers atour new facility to assemble, solder, inspect and test cables for military and aerospace applications. SummaryTheCable Technician provides technical support to produce SIO2 cables. The Cable Technician resolves issues and continually improves processes for SIO2 cable production. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support the production of SIO2 cables Help train, mentor and support SIO2 cable operators Read and interpret complicated SIO2 Engineering drawings Review and validate Work Instructions before build Validate new tooling and fixtures for SIO2 cable production Help test completed SIO2 cables to ensure they meet customer and quality requirements Identify and problem solve SIO2 cable manufacturing issues Trouble shoot and resolve SIO2 equipment issues Initiate continuous improvement projects to improve SIO2 performanceQualifications/Requirements High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience, Associates degree preferred 2years of experience in a manufacturing assembly environment 1-2 years cable assembly experience, preferred Ability to effectively speak, read and understand English Mechanical aptitude Welding experience, preferred Prior RF testing experience, preferred Solidworks experience, preferred Ability to efficiently perform basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply and divide), including working with fractions and decimals.
