This position is responsible for maintaining the production flow through the processes in the Image department.Duties/Responsibilities: Follow all short sheets, standard operating procedures and Amphenol’s company safety regulations. Coordinate workflow through all Image department processes. Coordinate cross-training and rotation of operators within department. Ensure preventive maintenance is being performed as required. Perform audits and feedback proactively and reactively. Uphold Amphenol standards with respect to safety, the environment, manufacturing, quality, and employee performance. Responsible for communication and implementation of procedural changes and revisions initiating and following through on corrective action. This position is responsible for sustaining engineering, design and documentation of existing products, product extensions, and new products for PWB assemblies. The Product Assembly Engineer performs multiple assignments of moderate to complex scope with minimal guidance. Independently evaluates, select and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications.Duties/Responsibilities: Under direction of the Product Engineering Manager, designs and implements tooling, methods, materials and documentation to insure the most productive manufacturing process in the building of APC products. This includes but is not limited to outline dies, insulation dies, forming tools and fixtures, molds, assembly fixtures, test and inspection tooling, packaging, marking and other tools, fixtures and equipment required for the manufacture and inspection of circuit assemblies.
